Perfect Size!
have purchased multiples of these bags in several colors because I never want to be without them. This is the newest color I have purchased, and I was a bit worried it would be too dark to work as a nude. When it arrived I was happy to see that it is a little lighter than the photo, a perfect nude for summer and a good match to my nude sandals. I carry it more than my other bags because I don’t have to be
precious with it, it’s lightweight, nearly indestructible, and a classic style. The zipper is metal and moves smoothly. The saffiano leather is sturdy and doesn’t scratch or show wear easily. It has an adjustable & removable strap, so can be carried crossbody, on the shoulder, or as a clutch. I can’t think of any casual/business casual attire it doesn’t look good with, and I get complimented on it frequently. It IS a small bag, but the way I get around that is organization, paring down how much I carry, and restocking at the end of each day. Instead of a wallet I use the built-in slots for my most used cards and ID, the zipper compartment for cash, and the external large back slip pocket for easy access to my phone (it securely fits the large size IPhone in a thin case). The center compartment holds my key pouch, mini hand sanitizer, lip stick, chapstick, a pen, tic tacs, small packet tissues, 1 ounce tube hand cream, mini pill fob, airbuds in little case, my gym card on lanyard, and an extra face mask. The internal slip pocket holds a couple of chamomile tea bags and a little flat cello bag containing 2 cough lozenges, 2 bandaids, 2 alcohol wipes, 2 eyeglass wipes, 2 hair elastics, 4 blotting papers, 4 flossers, and a small crystal nail file. You cannot fit a make up pouch or sunglasses in this bag. If you’re working and need to carry a laptop, chargers, folders, etc... then this is not the bag for you. I appreciate this bag so much when it’s raining and I don’t have to shield it with my body and jacket for fear of ruining the leather, when we’re sight seeing all day and it isn’t killing my shoulder, or when (during non-COVID times) we’re at the movies and I don’t want to babysit a bulky bag on my lap (and it won’t be destroyed if buttery popcorn falls on it). What others have said about the strap coming detached is true, which is weird because it’s quite difficult to open the hook to reattach, so HOW did it ever come off to begin with? It has happened enough to be annoying, but not every day, or even every month, and I’ve been carrying my first black one for 3 years now. It still looks new and all I do is use a leather cleaner/conditioner once a week. I admit to investing in ‘luxury’ bags, but there are many occasions when it’s inappropriate to carry something like that (e.g., volunteer work), so this one sees the most use!
