Credit Cards

Michael Kors accepts the following payment options for online purchases:

• PayPal
• Apple Pay
• Afterpay
• JCB
• China Union Pay

An authorization hold in the total dollar amount of your order is placed on the payment method at the time of order placement, but you will not be charged until your order ships. If payment is not authorized or if the total dollar amount of your order exceeds your credit limit, you will receive a message on the checkout page to try another form of payment.

Please also note in the event that you wish to return an item, any orders paid for by PayPal or Apple Pay that are returned in store for refund can only be refunded to gift card.

Apple Pay is only available to US iOS customers shopping on the KORSVIP App or their compatible mobile device. To check out with Apple Pay, you need to link a credit card in Apply Pay before you check out or the option to use Apple Pay will not appear. We do not accept debit cards. Credit cards that are also debit cards can be used, but the payment will be processed as a credit card transaction.

Taxes

Sales tax and/or goods and services tax, as applicable (individually and collectively referred to herein as “sales tax”) is calculated based on applicable federal and provincial tax laws. Typically, sales tax displayed during checkout is estimated until the order has shipped. Sales tax may also be applied to shipping fees. We do not charge sales tax on the purchase of gift cards, but items paid for with gift cards are subject to taxation.

Our website does participate in tax-free holidays.

Gift Cards and E-Gift Cards

Play your cards right: a Michael Kors gift card is guaranteed to delight. Choose between a classic gift card and an e-gift card. Classic gift cards are subject to the same shipping policies as other Michael Kors merchandised purchased on the website, while e-gift cards are emailed the same day and ready to use within 24 hours.

You may check the balance of your Michael Kors Classic Gift Card or your Michael Kors E-Gift Card (each referred to herein as a “Gift Card”) at any time by visiting a participating Michael Kors retail store, calling 1-866-709-5677 (for the U.S.) or 1-855-898-5677 (for Canada), or by clicking here. You will need your Gift Card number and PIN (located under the scratch-off box on the back of the card) to retrieve your card balance.

Michael Kors Gift Cards are redeemable for merchandise at any Michael Kors freestanding store in the United States, Canada and at any participating, freestanding non-U.S. Michael Kors stores, and at www.michaelkors.com, www.michaelkors.ca, and any participating, official Michael Kors website (subject to the website’s Shipping Policy and other policies). Gift Cards should be presented at the time of purchase and may not be redeemed for cash, except were required by law. You may also be required to provide your PIN when redeeming a Michael Kors E-Gift Card. Gift Cards will not be replaced if lost or stolen, except where required by law. GIFT CARD FAQs

Is there a maximum dollar value on a Michael Kors Gift Card?

The total Gift Card amount cannot exceed $2,000.00 per card or $10,000.00 per order.

Can I purchase Gift Cards using a Gift Card?

At this time, we do not allow Gift Cards to be purchased using another Gift Card as payment.

Will my purchase of a Gift Card be taxed?

Sales tax will not be applied to purchases of Gift Cards at www.michaelkors.com or www.michaelkors.com/ca. If other merchandise is included in your order, tax will apply only to those items.

Will I be able to apply any coupons or promotions to a purchase of a Gift Card?

Generally, coupons, discounts and other promotions cannot be applied to the purchase of Gift Cards.

Are Michael Kors Gift Card subject to the same shipping and returns policies as other merchandise purchased on www.michaelkors.com?

Shipping of Michael Kors Classic Gift Cards is subject to the same shipping policies as other Michael Kors merchandise purchased at www.michaelkors.com or www.michaelkors.com/ca, as applicable.

For Michael Kors E-Gift Cards, if you elect to receive a copy via email of the E-Gift Card you sent to someone else, you will receive a confirmation email once the e-Gift Card is sent via email to its intended recipient. In general, the E-Gift Card is sent via email to the recipient once your online order with us is placed. Michael Kors will not be responsible for delivery of the Michael Kors E-Gift Card to an incorrect yet deliverable email address, or to a nonexistent email address, as provided by the purchaser.

The standard Michael Kors Return Policy applies to any products purchased with a Michael Kors Gift Card, but Gift Cards themselves may not be returned. Refunds of purchases made with your Gift Card will be placed back on the card or on a new card.

How do I use my Classic Gift Card to make purchases at www.michaelkors.com?

To apply the balance of a Gift Card to an online purchase at www.michaelkors.com or www.michaelkors.ca, simply enter the gift card number and PIN in the appropriate fields in the payment stage of our checkout process. On a Michael Kors Classic Gift Card, the gift card number and the PIN are on the back of the physical card. The gift card number and the PIN for a Michael Kors E-Gift Card can be found in the copy of the E-Gift Card sent via email to the recipient.

How do I use my e-Gift Card in a Michael Kors store?

To redeem a Michael Kors E-Gift Card at a participating Michael Kors retail store, print out the Michael Kors E-Gift Card email and present it at the time of purchase. Please ensure that your print-out includes a barcode, the gift card number and the PIN (or that you know the PIN) at the time of the purchase.

Can I use both a Gift Card and a credit card to pay for an order?

If you are using both a Gift Card and a credit card to pay for an order, the full Gift Card value will be deducted first, and then the balance will be paid using your credit card. For online returns only, if you are returning any item that was in whole or in part paid for using a Gift Card, the amount contributed to the payment via Gift Card will be credited to you via a new E-Gift Card.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING REDEEMABILITY OF MICHAEL KORS GIFT CARDS:

All Michael Kors Gift Cards issued after February 24, 2014 may be redeemed online at www.michaelkors.com or www.michaelkors.ca, or at any other participating, official Michael Kors website, subject to the website’s Shipping Policy and other policies, and all Michael Kors Gift Cards purchased in the United States and at www.michaelkors.com will not expire, even if the terms on the card state otherwise.

Important Note About Pricing

Prices of products listed on our website are subject to change without notice. We do our best to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions we discover. We have the right to revoke any stated offer, including after an order has been submitted and your payment method charged. If your payment method has already been charged for the purchase and we elect to cancel your order, we will issue a credit to your payment account(s) in the amounts of the charge. For credit cards, individual bank policies will dictate when this amount is credited to your account.
