I was worried it would be stiff but it is not, also the patent is not overtly shiny which I love. I am 5'2" and fits longer than model but doesn't stunt my height or overwhelm me. I am about 115lbs and I wear the size 4 well, I tend to be 4 on MK bottoms so I think for the hip width you should take it into consideration.
