Down sizing does not help the issue
Sadly as some of the other reviews I had read prior to purchasing, the boot runs big. Big in the sense that’s it’s wide through the “mid” portion of your foot. There’s no way you can tighten it through the laces due to the toe width. It just makes it look silly. Down sizing does not help this issue it’s a bummer as I took a chance and downsized like people had suggested but it does not help and they are nonreturnable. Sincerely think about the fit before purchasing

Too chunky, clown shoes
Too chunky!! Look like clown shoes! They had potential but oh my gosh, when they arrived I laughed at how outrageously big they are! Return immediately. Micheal Kors, you can do better.
