Color is true to the photos and the strap length was perfect for me once I lowered them to maximize the drop length. I have two complaints-the outside pockets on either end of the bag are useless as the leather is too stiff and narrow at the opening to hold a phone, sunglasses or any small item needed. The second complaint is this-the leather product is overall very stiff and doesn’t flex at all to allow for more than my wallet, pencil style makeup bag and mini hairbrush. If you need a true tote bag, this will be too small. Very attractive bag but i’m disappointed it won’t accommodate my eyeglasses and sunglasses without stacking them on top of my wallet.
