Somewhat disappointing
I read the 5-star reviews on here before purchasing this bag. I had already returned the Small Voyager leather MK bag previously as it was too heavy. Although I bought this bag specifically because it is nylon and therefore lighter than leather, it is still kind of heavy. I noticed that the straps of MK bags are thin, which adds tension to the weight distribution. For the amount of money we are paying for a MK bag, the straps should be thicker.
Also, I wished that the base was wider so that it can fit a paper sized folder without the corner getting scrunched up. The width dimension in the description measures the widest width at the top. The bag gets narrower in width at the base.
The bag is a bit stiff so if you need to carry many things, including a sweater, it may be hard to. You have to really use force to open the bag up more. I would not recommend this bag for onboarding travelling.
Because the bag is quite stiff, it can be hard to get things inside. Having a back zipper compartment outside the bag would make it easier to access things.
