I think it's because of the square shape, you have to be careful when opening or closing so you don't break the zipper. I do like the buttons for each of the side pockets. The material on this handbag is really nice. The size, shape, color, feet, strap, is great. They definitely need to come out with more colors like scarlet red, wine, or navy, . Great collection piece for all seasons. Overall, yes a good purchase.
